Vetri Cucina Chef Series: Sous Chef Casey Bayer

Wednesday, March 22, 2023  |  6:30PM
$275 includes gratuity and sommelier selected wines
Limited to 18 guests

Join Sous Chef Casey Bayer for an intimate evening in our upstairs private dining room, where you'll get to pick his brain and enjoy a multi-course menu of his own unique design.

Casey started his culinary career at NoMad NYC then ventured to Misi, followed by Lilia, both Brooklyn based Italian restaurants. Combining Jewish and Italian cuisine, his dinner will pay homage to his mom and the memories they created from cooking together over the years. She loved to experiment with new recipes and provided the family with exposure to a variety of foods. Dishes like meatloaf, spaghetti carbonara, and potato kugel - the comfort foods - are the ones that left a lasting impression on him. When Casey isn't in the kitchen, there's a good chance he's tuned in to New York sports or watching his all time favorite show, The Soprano's. There might even be a pie (o my) on the menu and you can bet Bruce Springsteen will serenade you through this meal.
