Chianti Classico
Tuesday, July 2, 2024 | 6:00PM
$275 4 wines, 4 course dinner, & gratuity
Limited to 10 guests
We’re declaring it the summer of Sangiovese. Why? Because without it, there would be no Chianti, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, or Brunello di Montalcino. All to say, it’s one of the most important and widely planted grape varietals in Italy.
Beverage Director & Sommelier, Bobby Domenick, alongside, Enrique Gasparini, another familiar face and voice of Vetri Cucina plan to take guests on a spin of Sangiovese. School is out, summer of Sangiovese is in. Join us?
First up, Chianti Classico. Like all Italian wines, Chianti comes with rules. By definition, Chianti Classico has to be grown within the Chianti Region and be 80% Sangiovese with the remaining 20% from other native grapes. We will kick off the summer in Tuscany, featuring wines from classic producers such as Castello di Ama, Istine, Buccarelli, and Felsina.
This event includes 4 wines, a 4 course-dinner, & gratuity.
Seating is at the chef counter.
