Beer Dinner with Jean Broillet IV

Tuesday, September 8, 2015  |  6:30PM
$125 per person plus tax
Limited to 16 guests

The idea of Tired Hands Brewing Company was born in Jean Broillet's parent’s garage. Broillet began brewing beer partly out of intrigue, but mostly out of passion. During his college years, his father turned him on to West Coast pale ales and IPAs, which eventually led to many months of beer exploration. During this time, Broillet discovered the dry and expressive farmhouse ales of France and Belgium. After a few months of home brewing, Broillet entered a saison into a local home-brewing competition and took first place in the Belgian category.
After earning a degree in special education from West Chester University,

Broillet set off to pursue his passion for beer on a more professional level. He applied to a few Pennsylvania breweries, and eventually landed at Weyerbacher Brewing Company in Easton, Pennsylvania. Through Weyerbacher, Jean learned the ins and outs of brewery management and even met his now wife, Julie Foster, while representing Weyerbacher at a beer festival. Broillet next moved on to Iron Hill, where he worked as a brewer at their West Chester location for nearly five years.

After years of brewing professionally, Broillet built Tired Hands Brewing Company – a brewery that produces small batch, flavorful beer with a focus on simplicity.

Join us for an epic dinner with pairings from Jean Broillet IV, co-owner of Tired Hands Brewing Company.
