Vetri Cucina invites you to attend a delightful dinner event featuring the wines of Avignonesi with Brand Ambassador, Giuseppe Santarelli.  Giuseppe will discuss the winery and share some of their most notable wines.

Avignonesi is considered one of the most important wine businesses in Tuscany, due to its constant research and development.  First established in 1974, it is named after the Avignonesi family, the founders of the original estate.  In 2009, it was acquired by Virginie Saverys who has since introduced organic and biodynamic farming methods to produce distinctive wines that reflect the true character of the local grapes and the region’s terroir.  Their wines express the richness and beauty of the Montepulciano territory.  They are very respectful to the heritage of Montepulciano, where Sangiovese wines have been produced for centuries, and will continue to contribute to its future by being the finest representative of its heritage.

We look forward to Giuseppe sharing his knowledge, stories from the vineyard and of course some fabulous wines.  Paired alongside these wines will be a traditional Southern Tuscan menu in the classic Vetri Cucina fashion. We hope you will be able to join us and experience these treasures of Italian winemaking!

We are excited to welcome back Lorenzo Scavino, owner and winemaker of Azelia Wines! This time around, we are highlighting a lineup of back vintage wine, featuring a decade of Barolo. These bottles were imported directly from the Azelia wine cellar – located in the commune of Castiglione Falletto and have been resting in the Vetri Cucina cellar for the last 6 months, getting ready for their big debut. A regionally inspired Piedmontese menu will be served to complement these beautiful, rare wines.
