Hailing from the mountains of L’Aquila, Abruzzo, Chef Zonfa is one of the premier chefs representing the Italian culinary tradition in the world today. Working as the resident chef and partner at the prestigious Michelin star Magione Papale restaurant in Abruzzo, Zonfa is truly a master of his craft. Defining his cuisine as traditional Abruzzese food “re-modeled in a modern tone,” Zonfa’s menu is simple, seasonal, and authentic, yet visual, colorful and upbeat. Collaborating with Rustichella d’Abruzzo, the region’s most renowned artisan pasta maker, Chef William travels around the world to promote the pasta and traditional dishes of Abruzzo with a modern flair.
