Cooking Class

A Summer Seafood Feast with Jeff Michaud

Tuesday, May 24, 2016  |  6:30PM
$175 (Inclusive of house wines and hospitality)
Limited to 12 guests

With a majority of Italy's regions extending along the coastlines of the Mediterranean, Adriatic and Ionian seas, seafood plays a significant role in the Italian diet. Especially in the warmth of the summer when it is the perfect time to enjoy this lighter fare.

Guests will learn how to select seasonal varieties of fish keeping in mind the concepts of sustainability, and how to prepare each of these varieties using classic Italian recipes.

Leading you through this exciting class is the James Beard Award Winner, Vetri Family Executive Director and author of Eating Italy, Chef Jeff Michaud. He will share the recipes and techniques he has learned through his extensive culinary journey, focusing on why pristine ingredients and uncomplicated techniques are the two elements that set Italian cookery apart.

Guests will enjoy a multi-course seafood dinner prepared by Chef Michaud accompanied by our house wines. The evening will conclude with a traditional Italian dessert, digestivo and espresso.
