Cooking Class

Overcoming Your Fear of Cooking Fish

Monday, March 7, 2016  |  6:30PM
$175 (Inclusive of house wines, non-alcoholic beverages, and hospitality.)
Limited to 12 guests

Seafood is one of the greatest sources of protein, yet a food that many of us are reluctant to prepare out of self-doubt.  We are excited to offer a cooking class specifically created to demystify the selection, preparation, and cooking of whole fish and shellfish, and to showcase several of the classic seafood dishes we prepare here at Vetri.  We hope that those joining us for the class will leave empowered and more self-confident in their culinary skills and take these recipes with them to try at home.  The class will commence with a welcoming glass of Prosecco and snacks (which we call stuzzichini), and include an offering of house wines to accompany your tasting of the seafood dishes prepared during the class.  Afterwards we will move from the chef's counter to the private dining room for espresso and piccola pasticceria where guests are encouraged to exchange their impressions from the class and inspire each other to practice these culinary skills at home.
