Wine Dinner

White Wine Dinner with Giampaolo Venica

Wednesday, October 26, 2016  |  6:30PM
$245 (Inclusive of wine pairing and hospitality)
Limited to 16 guests

Family owned since 1930, Venica & Venica estate is one of the most prestigious wineries in the region of Friuli. Giampaolo recently took over the winery with his sister and cousins, making the estate 4 generations strong. White wine thrives in the Venica vineyards, which are spread on 7 different hills, surrounded by forest and co-planted with fruit trees. Within those hills are 55 microclimates, allowing even the same varietal to have a unique, elegant expression. This dinner will allow Giampaolo to showcase his white wines, including his Friulano, Malvasia and Sauvignon Blancs. Each of their bright, sometimes lush and always aromatic styles will pair beautifully with Chef Joey DeLago’s menu. We hope you will be able to join us for an evening with Giampaolo and the white wines of Venica & Venica. As Giampaolo says, “the perfumes of the wine will lead you to the pleasure of drinking.” And to that we’d like to add that they will lead to the pleasure of eating, too.
